The "Aether"project was created on March 11, 2007 at New York's P.S.1 MOMA, as [sic]'s contribution to Thierry Geoffrey's Emergency Room exhibition.
Aether asks what is the imagined opinion of the subject regarding the artwork? Art is installed, visitors regard it; but what is the collective voice and political energy found in the gallery aether, where artist opinion and public meet?
Aether allies artist and public, simultaneously participating and recording the voice of the gallery space, distilling and filtering it through technology and a team of hands at work. The gallery space is the microphone; the visitors are the voice; the artist's participant camera supplies the vision. All media elements are merged together, and heated within the edit.
